A scalable, accessible virtual event platform and vendor support model delivered for the New York State Department of Labor — connecting job seekers and regional employers across New York State in partnership with vFairs.
The challenge
State workforce agencies hosting large-scale hiring events require platforms that guarantee Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, support thousands of concurrent job seekers, and offer intuitive employer booths and live interview queues — all while adhering to strict New York State procurement and transparency requirements.
The NES solution
NES served as prime contractor in partnership with vFairs as platform subcontractor, delivering end-to-end event management: virtual booth configuration, registration and attendee workflows, accessibility validation, and live event coordination. NES structured the engagement with a transparent, zero-markup pass-through on partner platform fees paired with dedicated coordination services.
The results
